Pemberdayaan Wanita Dengan Memanfaatkan Lahan Kosong di Desa Cihambulu Pabuaran Subang Jawa Barat
Abstract
The main purpose of this literature is to provide training for women in Cihambulu village by utilizing the vacant land in order to empower women in Cihambulu Pabuaran Subang village, West Java. There are three issues that cause the women's empowerment activities in Cihambulu village are still low as follows: the Lack of insight and skills of women in Cihambulu village, the Lack of community concern for the role of women in the family because of the paradigm that exists in the community, the Lack of knowledge how to manage vacant land to be more productive. The solution for that issues are as follows : (1) Improving the insight and skills of women in Cihambulu village through training so that they can be more productive, (2) increasing the awareness of the importance of the role of women not only as housewives but also as husband partners to meet family needs and increase the role of women in the village by being involved in various strategic decision-making processes in the village through the presentation about women's empowerment, (3) With the training of planting crops on vacant land around the house using hydroponic techniques, and polybags, it is hoped that it can increase the horizon of residents so that they can manage the vacant land around them so that they can be used properly and more productive.
